Rent a container for storage, a construction site, or a temporary shortage of space

Does your business need temporary extra storage space? At CETEM, you can rent a container for storage, construction site use, transport, or refrigerated goods. Since 1995, we’ve been helping businesses with containers for both temporary and long-term projects. Renting a container is particularly useful for renovations, seasonal peaks, project work, or temporary space shortages on your property. You remain flexible and pay only for the period during which you need the container.

Which container would you like to rent?

At CETEM, you can rent containers for warehouse storage, construction site storage, transportation, temporary storage, or refrigerated storage. For dry goods, a standard storage container is often sufficient. For temperature-sensitive products, opt for reefers or insulated containers. Rent a container for transport or project use

A shipping container is also ideal for temporary transport or project-based use. It allows you to transport goods safely and efficiently from one location to another. This is particularly useful for temporary assignments, events, renovations, seasonal inventory, or during peak logistics periods.

Since you’re renting the container, you can keep your costs under control. You only pay for the period during which you need the container. This makes renting an attractive option for companies that want to scale up temporarily without immediately investing in their own equipment.

Rent a refrigerated container or reefer

Do your goods need to be kept at a specific temperature? If so, a standard storage container won’t suffice. What size container do you need?

The right size depends on your goods, the available space, and the intended use. An 8-foot or 10-foot container is a good fit for smaller sites. A 20-foot container is often used for storage, transport, and construction projects. For large inventories, machinery, or bulk storage, you’ll usually choose a 40-foot or 45-foot container. Do you need extra height? Then a high-cube container might be a better fit.

How much does it cost to rent a container?

The rental price depends on the type of container, its size, the rental period, delivery, and any accessories. For example, a standard storage container has a different price than a refrigerated container or a special model. For many containers, we display the daily rental price directly. For larger requests or specific projects, we’ll prepare a customized quote so you know exactly what to expect upfront.

When submitting your request, please specify what you will be using the container for, how long you will need it, and where you would like us to place it. This will help us recommend the right solution more quickly.

Have a container delivered to your location

If you choose delivery by our crane truck, we’ll deliver the container to your business premises, construction site, or project location. To ensure smooth placement, we’ll assess accessibility, available space, and the ground conditions. A flat, solid surface prevents sinking and makes safe use easier. Do you need multiple containers, or is the location difficult to access? Please let us know right away when you submit your request, and we’ll work with you to figure out the best delivery plan.

Frequently asked questions about shipping containers for rent

All our containers show slight signs of wear. All our shipping containers come from China to the port of Antwerp, where the goods are unloaded and then transported to our depot. Because the containers are used at least once before they arrive at our depot, they will always show some signs of wear. 

Signs of wear refer to minor damage that occurs during shipping. This can include scratches, dents, or discoloration. Our team always carefully inspects the containers before you receive them. If the container does not meet our strict safety requirements, we will replace it with one that does. 

You are not allowed to make any modifications to the shipping container during the rental period. Do you want to make modifications? Then you can buy a shipping container.

The shipping container will be placed on your own property. In terms of surface, we recommend a place that is solid, for example, your driveway or on sand. This will prevent the container, as well as your paving, from subsiding.

During the application process, you will be given the option to pick up the container yourself. If this is not possible or desirable, the container can be delivered by crane truck. In that case, your site must be accessible to our crane truck. Are you purchasing multiple containers? Our truck can transport one 40-foot container or two 20-foot containers. Yes, we do have a minimum rental period of one month. You can rent a container on a temporary basis for a project, renovation, peak season, or extra storage.
